Screw compressor vs pistom compressor - which is better?
Piston compressors suit intermittent, low-CFM jobs (workshops, small fab). Rotary screw compressors are the industrial standard for anything running > 4 hrs/day or > 30 CFM continuous: lower noise, far less maintenance, much longer service life, and significantly better energy efficiency.

What does a basic compressor maintenance checklist look like?
Weekly: drain condensate, check oil level, listen for unusual noise. 500 hrs: change oil filter, check belt tension. 2000 hrs: change air filter + oil. 4000 hrs: change oil-separator and synthetic oil. Annual: SKF bearing inspection, valve service, electricals check. We provide full AMC packages.
